The Official Keeping Up Appearances Fan Club & Forum
Welcome to the Bucket residence (that is pronounced 'Bouquet'). To get full access to my house please log in or create an account, that way I will be assured that you are a truly superior person, who will not brush against my wallpaper! Don't forget to take your shoes off, as stains on my wood block flooring are a pain to remove.

By the way, Harold Snoad who is the director of Keeping Up Appearances, is our resident celebrity. That will show Mrs Barker-Finch who really has friends in high places!

Best Wishes,
Hyacinth Bucket

Hello Hi everyone. I'm Sherry from the United States. USA

I confess I am addicted to KUA and many other British Comedies. They are a breath of fresh air for me. So many of the shows in this country are just plain junk. Unfortunately, the one Public Television station I can receive isn't broadcasting KUA as much as I would like Rolling Eyes , so I've been relying on Netflix and some of the DVD's I own. I am considering buying the complete series, to end the aggravation of not being able to view KUA when I like.

I love Hyacinth, but my favorite peeps are Onslow and Daisy. Daze sure is crazy about her Man!!!

I'm so glad I stumbled upon the Fan Club! Very Happy Very Happy

Oh? Where in the U.S. are you? It's a very big place, I should know-- I live there. (It's alright if you don't want to say, though.) Razz

Also, what other ones do you like?

Pennsylvania.

I love Last Of The Summer Wine, As Time Goes By, Open All Hours, Hallelujah!, Vicar of Dibley ...plus more. One I don't really like is Black Adder. Just could not get into that one.

Hi Sherry!

Treat yourself to the boxset, you won't regret it.

Vicar of Dibley comes a very close second to KUA for me, I love it too! I live in Oxfordshire where it was filmed/based.

I am definitely buying the set, but I was waiting for the price to come down a bit. I'm getting very impatient. This series never seems to go on sale.

I just bought "Are You Being Served". I love a sale! Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

So you're freezing too! Yesterday one groundhog predicted an early spring, the other 6 more weeks of winter. I vote for the early spring! Smile

The countryside in the series is so beautiful. You are very lucky to live in the area!

Ok then, Welcome Kim! We always aim to be more friendlier, and a more active website/forum! If you have any friends from the old site, feel free to send them here, as we aim to be the BEST and MOST active Keeping Up Appearances website. We have even had Harold Snoad (director of the series) on here for a live chat with the fans!
