Welcome to the Bucket residence (that is pronounced 'Bouquet'). To get full access to my house please log in or create an account, that way I will be assured that you are a truly superior person, who will not brush against my wallpaper! Don't forget to take your shoes off, as stains on my wood block flooring are a pain to remove.

By the way, Harold Snoad who is the director of Keeping Up Appearances, is our resident celebrity. That will show Mrs Barker-Finch who really has friends in high places!

Best Wishes,
Hyacinth Bucket

Hi all, been a fan of Keeping Up Appearances ever since I can remember. My two girls love it too. Got the DVDs a while ago and still can't stop watching it. My favourite character is Daisy, she is so warmhearted and friendly. I love it when the major makes a play for Hyacinth and also when Onslows car turns up, putting Hyancinth in a difficult position. My favourite episode is 'Taking out Mrs Fortescue' with the icing on the cake being "Oh goody o, yes why not" etc. when discovering Onslows bicycle. It would be lovely to see a special episode just to see what Hyacinth and co are doing now.

Welcome Honeybunch Waving

So glad you've found us! Daisy and the Major are fabulous characters. I wish they'd used the Major more don't you!

"Taking out Mrs Fortescue" is one of my faves too and I also love the way Patricia Routledge delivers that line. She's great isn't she.

Take a look at the episodes thread if you want to comment on any other favourites!

I have noticed via your other posts that you are a UK member. So that means you can get a paper copy. Would you like me to email you some information about it - costs ETC?
